SUMMER IS COMING
Just like the season, Summer McIntosh is always coming.
This is not so much a warning as it is an inevitability.
As the World Record holder in the 400 IM …
…and the only swimmer that’s ever simultaneously held the fastest times in history in both the 400 IM and 400 Free.
You might think that Summer has already arrived.
… but she’s not stopping there.
Summer is coming.
Worlds conquered.
And now Paris.
Summer was Canada’s youngest Olympian in Tokyo at 14 years old.
She’s 17 now, a once-in-a-generation athlete who threatens to break national and world records every time she’s in the pool.
The winner of 2 Gold and 2 Bronze medals at last summer’s World Championships in Japan, and 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze at the 2022 World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
All of this adds up to more than just a unique trajectory.
It’s a countdown to the 2024 Paris Olympics – and history.
Summer is coming.
WHAT BROUGHT HER HERE?
Is Summer just about the world record times?
The determination? The discipline?
Well, no.
She’s a tik-tok watching, lipstick-wearing-from-the-age-of-2, cat-loving, mall-shopping, fashion-freaking, sister, daughter and friend. The secret jokester in a remarkably loving and close-knit family. Sister Brooke, mother Jill, and father Greg. And it’s this kind of love and support that has brought her here. To this season. Her season.
